Paul leads Square1’s sport operations following nine years at Sky Sports News. Since joining Square1 Consulting, Paul has advised a number of clients in football, cricket, rugby and golf on a wide range of issues. He has assisted clients with their corporate profiles on a local, national and international stage. As the business of sport has developed into a key component of the media’s sports coverage, Paul has provided strategic advice surrounding a number of high profile issues including M&A’s, Rights Issues, Debenture Schemes and Administration.

Paul has used his detailed knowledge of the media industry to provide counsel to clients; specifically on the interaction between sport and other forms of media. He has also been able to utilise Square1 Consulting’s strong links with the City of London to introduce clients to a number of potential partners and other key advisors.

Paul is currently working with the Football Federation Australia on their bid to host the World Cup in either 2018 or 2022.
